..a waiting

Drop by drop a creek was formed
Splitting the rocky mountain into two
Watering the grass and bulbs and weed
And a handful of flower seedlings too

Washed away a lot of dirt
To give everything a fresh start
Clear water, to quench the thirst
Of the sparrows that flies over head

Plungin deep into the mountains below
in small pools did it gush
roarin all the way, in full speed
sending the squirrels back into the nearby bush

The sun rays glistened and added color
The shadow of trees made it heaven
Flowers too, did add fragrance
And the gentle breeze to its grace

Ripples sent the water to stir
And the wind blew away them afar
Maple leaves had fun, floating
On their bare back downhill all day long

Yellow spring flowers let the butterflies
Sit and relax on their long flight
The big birds got confused at the
Flight of gliders on their way!

All the blooms opened up against the sun
Waiting for the moon to put them to sleep
And the clouds made faces and made me think
Of the one who would give my directions!
